Learn the basics - WetInk Guide

Welcome to Wet Ink

Welcome to the Wet Ink classroom! All Wet Ink’s features are built to address the needs of writers, like you. You might be taking one of three types of classes:

  1. Group Class: In these classes, there is an instructor as well as other students. You will probably complete the course over a set number of weeks, give and get feedback from other students, and connect in discussion boards or the live chat feature.
  2. Self-Paced Class: In these classes, you take the class at your own pace without involvement of an instructor or other students.
  3. One-on-One Mentorship: In these classes, you will have an instructor that you can communicate with but there will be no other students.

Join your class

Each writing class at Wet Ink is a private space, only accessible by a unique invitation link. To join your class, you will need to click that link. You will be asked to create a new account or sign in with an existing one.

WetInk Tip: Depending on how your class is setup, you may have access to a community area in addition to your class. Click on ‘JOIN YOUR ONLINE COMMUNITY’ above to learn more about the community space.

Access your class

Once you’ve created an account and joined your class, you should bookmark the Class Home or save the link address. This will be the easiest way to access your class in future. Some instructors may provide this via email; some may not.

If you were also added to a community, you can access your class from the community home. Select the green Go To Class button which should take you directly to your class area. If you are taking more than one class, a dropdown menu will be provided.
